It's that season again!  Lots of products have recently hit the market like Photoshop CS5, Flash Professional CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, Flex 4, Flash Builder, and many more, so lets celebrate!  On April 15th at 7pm, in room 161 Communication Arts and Sciences Building, we will be showing some of the newest products, doing basic walk-through and holding Q&A about the status of some of the projects at Adobe (like the Flash CS5 iPhone compiler).

Popcorn, cupcakes and prizes will be provided!  This is a great meeting to hit to learn about all sorts of new stuff!

On March 25th, we are proud to host Zach Stepek from Influxis.  Zack will be talking about the Synx platform that deploys on the Flash Media Server.  We will be meeting on the campus of Michigan State University in or near room 161 in the Communication Arts and Sciences building, starting at 7pm.  The meeting will also be available via Connect for remote users at http://experts.na3.acrobat.com/theflexgroup/.

For our February meeting, we will be hosting Jeffery Houser from Dot Com It Consulting and Flextras.  Jeff will be giving us a basics course on creating components with the Flex Framework.  Our meeting will be held on Feb 11th, 2010 in room 161 of the Communication Arts and Science Building on the Campus of Michigan State University.  Those of you who wish to join us online can go to http://experts.na3.acrobat.com/theflexgroup/.

On January 14th, 2010 at 7pm, the Michigan Flex Users Group will be having a meeting about the Data Centric Application Development model in Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4.  We will be showing some of the new features being introduced into the upcoming IDE.  We will show how you can integrate your applications using XML, Web Services, or directly with PHP or ColdFusion.  Copies of the latest version of Flash Builder 4 will be available at the meeting, and those that choose to install it can follow along with us.
